Lead Guitar: Chris Reeves
Born in Cisco, Texas outside of Abilene, Reeves grew up playing West Texas honky tonks and dance halls.
Picked up the guitar at 10 years old and hasn't put it down since. Six months into his music career, he was playing lead guitar and being asked to perform with local acts. At age 14, he played his first paid honky tonk gig. Cutting his teeth in West Texas dance halls with notable acts as Vernon Willingham and the Texas Rhythm Boys, Texas Touch, George Allison and popular Central Texas band Southern Cross, Reeves was summoned to the Texas Hill Country by country singer Craig Dillingham. After playing all over Texas with Dillingham, Chris went on to play for 5 years with ‘Nashville Star’ season one finalist John Arthur Martinez and in 2005 joined him onstage at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Reeves also toured Europe 6 times with Martinez, as well as 4 tours of the East Coast. Since then, Chris has performed and recorded with many well known Texas acts such as Bo Porter, Jeremy Steding, Luke Olson, Johnny Bush, just previously withJason Allen who has had 3 number one hits on the Texas Music Chart and now first pick for Bo Porter!
In 2010, Reeves just completed his first release, “A Good Year for Beer”. (Bo says buy it, it's good)
