Bo Porter & his Dixie Rockits play Honky Tonk, Classic Country, Rockabilly, Countrybilly... real Texas Dance music.
Most folks don't recognize the songs because they were originally recorded by such legendary country music stars as: Faron Young, Jim Reeves, Win Stewart, Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Web Pierce, George Jones, Hank Locklin, Johnny Cash, Hank Snow, and many others.
Some people around Austin have compared Bo's kind of entertainment to folks like Jams Hand, Dale Watson, & Wayne Hancock... What a nice thing to say, we catch their shows every chance we get.
You can hear Bo singing real country music at your favorite dance hall, club, bar or pub near you; the Schedule page lists all our tour dates. There is a real good chance that you'll catch Bo playing The Broken Spoke, The Saxon Pub, Ginny's Little Longhorn, Gruene Hall, and Possum Creek too.

Churches & Charitable Causes in General feel free to write a letter requesting a Merchandise donation or our Services as entertainers to your fundraiser / auction or what-ever.
Please send you request on, Business or Organization Letterhead, in writing via snail mail (address listed on Products Page) at least 8 weeks in advance of your event.
Don't forget to include in the letter
~What exactly you do, believe in etc...
~ How the merchandise or entertainment will be used to benefit your cause
~ Who this event will benefit directly.
~ A mailing address for your location so we Can send you a CD or other Merchandise if we choose to
